Here at Arlington Composite Squadron, we believe that we are constantly striving for excellence, our cadets are pursuing their goals and their passions through our programs. We are working to both improve ourselves and the community around us through our leadership training programs and our service to the community.
Arlington meets every Thursday Night at 6:00pm. We meet at the Weston Alternative High School in Smokey Point and our meetings last until 9:00pm. During our meetings, we practice military customs and courtesies while enjoy a fun and safe environment for cadets to practice their leadership skills and abilities.
Our vision at Arlington is simply and defines not only who we are, but who we are going to continue to be:
“A professionally trained squadron integral in the missions of the Northwest Sector and Washington Wing. The cadets are motivated, dedicated to the missions, and striving for excellence.”
Our Missions at 093 display our dedication to our community and our dedication to our cadets:
To train leaders for the future of the United States
To provide members for the benefit of the Northwest Area and Washington Wing
To host and accomplish the missions of the NWEAA Arlington Fly-In
To ensure a fun and active Cadet Program
Western Cadet Academy
Arlington Composite Squadron is a proud supporter of Western Cadet Academy, the only training academy designed by cadets for cadets in the Northwest Area. Western Cadet Academy hosts a number of different leadership schools for every phase of the cadet program, from Cadet Airman to Cadet Officers and we at Arlington encourage cadets to attend at minimum of two of four Western Cadet Academies per year.
The next WCA will be on the 13th & 14th of March 2010.
